Creating a Symbol of Hope
Ovarian cancer is often referred to as the disease that whispers because its signs are subtle. Women and health professionals must rely on awareness of symptoms to bring the disease to their attention.
As a growing organization, the National Ovarian Cancer Association, now called Ovarian Cancer Canada needed to present a fresh face in the fight against this deadly disease. Reflecting its history and nature of the sunflower as a symbol of hope, we created a new brand image designed to ignite more colourful, bright and uplifting qualities.
In concert with the complete identity program, we also created the marketing and event materials for their “NOCA Walk of Hope” fundraiser held annually in September. The new brand acted as a catalyst for raising significant awareness and support.
